Hindu Yadav Defence is a group of people who follow Hinduism, belong to the Yadav caste and are into Defence services. Yadavs are the ancient Vedic panchjanya tribes and part of Kshatriya varna in Hinduism, constituting about one tenth of the total population in India.
Many clans believe to have descended from the Yadu clan such as Ahirs, Gaurs, Saini, Jadeja, etc. Yadavs have special place in India's politics and plays an important role in formation of government on state and national level.
