The Vaidiki community is a Telugu speaking Brahmins community who belongs to Andhra Pradesh. The Vaidiki brides follow a system during the wedding rituals, which is Srauta-Smartha as evidenced in the sankalpams, which is taken during offering Puja. As per the Vedic preaching, the Vaidikis have to follow the Brahma form of Vedic wedding, which refers to arranged marriages, and follow the Vedic preaching. After the wedding, the Vaidiki bride acquires the traditions of her husband's family.
