Tamil Mudaliar
Matrimonial
Mudaliar or Mudali is a title used by Tamil castes. The word is derived from the honorary title Mudali meaning a person of first rank which was bestowed upon top-ranking bureaucratic officials and army officers in medieval South India. Hindu Mudaliars are Dravidians speaking Tamil but with their interaction with different cultures, they developed many sub branches.
Marriages in Hindu Mudailar are performed with religious observance, divided into pre wedding, wedding and post wedding rituals.
