Hindiusm is one of the major religions in Nepal and even the calendar circulated in Nepal is based on the Hindu solar believes. Among the people belonging to Tibeto- Nepalese, Magar, Rai and Sunwar, are the people, who follow Hindu religion in Nepal. A large number of Hindus in Nepal worship Lord Vishnu and thus believe in the other aspects of Hindu culture. Almost 87% of population present in every region of Nepal is of Hindus, which adds to the significance, Hinduism holds in their society.
