Rajput Gujarat Matrimony is a stately affair with rich and vibrant decorations. The Rajput is also called Darbars in Gujarat. The Rajput Gujarat matrimonial customs allows marriage within the same community but not in the same clans. The chief clans are Chauhan, Jadeja, Vaghela, Parmar, Raizada, Solanki and Rana. Concentration of Rajput community is mostly in Kutch, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Kathiawar and Jamnagar districts. The marriage rituals start with 'Ganesh Puja' and 'Griha Shanti Puja'.
