Parsi is a small and rich community that follow Zorastrian religion. They follow rituals which are mix of Persian, Zorastrian and Indian cultures. Parsi's encourage weddings within their religion and are mostly settled in western states of India. Parsi weddings are known as 'Nahan' and yet another symbol of India's cultural diversity. Parsi bride on her wedding day takes a holy bath and get dressed in a white saree known as Madhavate. The weddings usually happen in the day time and are simple.
