The Pareek matrimony refers to the matrimonial ceremony of people belonging to Pareek caste, who are the fluent speakers of Marwari and Dhundari languages. They are known to be one of the Brahmin castes and are found in the regions of Rajasthan in India. Pareeks are identified as the descendants of the famous Rishi Parashar. Pareek matrimony can be observed in the areas of Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Nagaur, Jaipur, Sikar and Churu, because of the prominence of Pareek community in these areas.
