Oriya Hindu Telis are the people belonging to the Teli caste of the Oriya community and following the culture of Orissa. People belonging to the Hindu Teli caste are mostly involved in the Business occupation and mostly be found living in the Northern part of India. Teli in Oriya means Tel or oil, and people involved in the business of edible oil in Orissa are mostly referred to as Oriya Hindu Teli. Hindu teli are divided into many sub- castes like Sahu, Tilwan, Taheeme, kokani, Vaddhar etc.
