Hindu Mudaliar Tamil Nadu is the community of Tamil speaking, Mudaliar people who adhere to the religion of Hindus and are settled in Tamil Nadu. Mudaliar or Mudali, meaning a person of first rank, is the honorary title used by various Tamil castes. Some of the popular castes of Hindu Mudaliar Tamil Nadu include those of Thondaimandala Saiva Vellalar, Thuluva vellalar or Arcot Mudaliar, Kerala Muthali and Senaithalaivar. Almost 90% population of the state of Tamil Nadu is made up of Hindus.
