Vysya
Matrimonial
Vysyas are also called Vaishyas or Vanikas and are believed to have originated from the Creator Lord Brahma. The term ‚Vaishya‚„ is used for those who are traders by profession as well as for those belonging to the third Varna of Hindu social order. People belonging to Vysya as a Varna follow only Hinduism but when classified on the basis of occupation;, they may be Hindus, Sikhs or even Jains. Vysyas earlier comprised merchants and artisans but then eventually became money lenders and traders.
