Arunachal Pradesh in northeast India is also known as the‚„ Land of Rising Sun‚„. The most interesting feature of the state is that it has various official languages like Hindi, Assamese, English, Deori and other local languages. A large percentage of the population of AP is animist i.e. they believe that non-human entities are spiritual beings and follow shamanistic-animistic religious traditions like Donyi-Polo and Rangfrah. It has sizeable populations of Hindus, Buddhists and Christians also.
