Kannada Brahmins are the Hindu Brahmins whose use Kannada language as their mother tongue. Kannada Hindu Madhwa Brahmins is referred to a community of the people of Brahmin caste in India. They follow the principles of Dvaita or Dualism, which are codified by the Acharya Madhwa. Madhwa Brahmins follow Vaishnavism and are therefore called Vaishnavites. Mainly Kannada Madhwas Brahmins can found living in Karnataka and a large number live in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharasthra, Kerala and Goa.
