Hindu Kamma Andhra Pradesh is a significant community that had six sub divisions traditionally but none of them exist today. Also referred to as Kammavaru, Kammas are found in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also. Telugu being the official language is the spoken widely by the community. Hindu Kamma Andhra Pradesh group is mainly found in the districts of Guntur, Khammam, Krishna and Prakasam. Naidu and Naicker are the most commonly used titles by Kammas in AP, indicating the villages they belonged to.
