Hindu Jats are referred to as an tribal group of Indo- Aryans, who are generally resident of regions in Punjab, Rajasthan, UP and Haryana. Most of the Jats in Delhi, practise Hinduism as their religion, while may others follow Sikhism, Islam and Christianity. Jats residing in different parts of the country, generally speak Hindi, Punjabi, Dogri, Urdu and Gojri as their main dialects. The Jat Hindus are counted among few of the most prospering communities in India, on the basis of per-capita.
