Himachali Brahmins are the Hindus living in the HP of India. Most of the Hindus living in the Himachal Pradesh state of India belong to the Brahmin caste. Hindu Brahmins belong to the priestly class of society and therefore are referred to as the most respectable class. Hindu Brahmins are further divided in to many sub- castes out of which Pancha Gauda Brahmins forms the major concentration of Brahmins in Himachal. Hindu Brahmins also practise other professions like medicine, law, writing, etc.
