Hindu Aggarwals constitute one of the major communities in India and has been related to trading community. A large number of Hindus believe in Vaishnavism, while the other part practises the Jain religion. The Aggarwals claim to have descented from the renowned king Agrasena of Agroha, which is near Hisar, located in Haryana. People belonging to the Hindu Aggarwal community, generally speak languages like Hindi, Punjabi, Marwari or other dialects of Hindi, depending on the place of living.
