Jains are a minority group in Gujarat region that worship Tirthankaras (Gods). Lord Maharvir is the most popular Jain God. Jains in Gujarat speak the regional language known as Gujarati/Kutchi which is a modern indo-Aryan language derived from Sanskrit.
There are various dialects within Gujarati language such as Bombay Gujarati, Patnuli, Surti, Kathiyawadi, Jhalawadi, Sorathi, Khakari and so on. Other then Gujarat, the Kutchi is widely spoken in Mumbai, Rajasthan, and M.P among Indian states.
