Devanga community members are from South India and primarily were in the profession of weaving. They belong to either Brahmin or Vaishyas castes of the Hindu Varna System. Wedding customs of the Devanga community follows same caste marriage alliances. The Devanga Grooms can speak Kannada, Telugu, Tamil or Malayalam, depending upon the state of birth.
