Daivadnya matrimony is the marriage practise of the bride and groom belonging to Daivadnya community. They are an ethno-religious group hailing from the west coast of India and mainly reside in the areas of Goa, coastal Maharashtra and Karnataka. Daivadnya matrimony takes place according to Hindu rituals because Daivajnas are the followers of follow Brahminical Hinduism and adhere to the Vedic rites. They worship the deities of both Vedic and Puranic origin.
