Brahmin Andhra Pradesh is the group of Brahmins living in the southeastern state of Andhra Pradesh. Brahmins are believed to form the highest Varna in Hindu social order out of the four in total. They are usually in the occupation similar to that of scholars, teachers and priests all across the country. They are categorized into two regional groups and further divided into gotras and pravaras. Brahmin Andhra Pradesh belongs to Pancha Dravida sect and is divided into 2 groups- Viadiki and Niyogi.
